I NEED SOME ENCOURAGEMENT TO GET STARTED HERE. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME. THANK YOU Kathy D November 1, 2010 I had a band done October 2009. I lost about 40 lbs. I never could find the right adjustment. I had multiple appointments add fluid, take it out…every few weeks. Finally the band slipped about 2 months ago. I was unable to keep anything down. I ended up having the band removed and had a gastric sleeve done. I have lost 20 lbs since the sleeve was done a month ago. I have not had any issues with food getting stuck. It is nice not to have to deal with the adjustments all the time. Only 4% of patients have the band slip. Guess I was just lucky. Good luck!
