Maggie April 23, 2009 I love the dating game like intro music. agt1965 April 24, 2009 Ha, aren’t we all???? Thanks for all you do! Laura April 24, 2009 Another GREAT episode. Your such an inspiration! Loved you in pink! So excited you discovered my favorite protein with BSN….it ROCKS!! I drink it all the time. Can’t wait for the next show!! Cyndi April 24, 2009 Great job! Your show reminds me of I Dream of Jeannie in the beginning, very cute…hehe. It does burn my cookies when people say surgery is the easy way out. What does that mean exactly?!!! Anyway, keep up the good work. marylaw April 24, 2009 Thanks for another great, informative episode, Beth. Vitamins are so important post-op, and ignorance is no excuse! After your episode, the watcher is no longer ignorant, just responsible to put the info. to good use. Let’s see you in a jump suit next time (I don’t mean the jump-out-of-an-airplane kind, altho’ that would be funny)! ๐ mm April 24, 2009 WHAT is a jumpsuit?! Mimi April 24, 2009 I was wondering when you’d be back, MM. Another good informative show! Dorky? If you’re dorky – then I must be super-dorkey. LOL! P.S. A jumpsuit is a one-piece pantsuit – used to be fashionable in the 60s and 70s. I DON’T think you want to go there….. jessica April 24, 2009 I’m why are you so against children’s vit. My surgeon says take two with iron, comparatively two are equal to the nutriants that are in adult vitamins, whith out that yucky taste mm April 25, 2009 Hey Jessica. ๐ Children’s vites are for kids, and after that immediate post-operative period (as many docs suggest, because they are ‘easy’ to take, ‘easy on the pouch…”, there is no reason to continue taking them when there are SO MANY good tasting and BARIATRIC-SPECIFIC vitamins out there. Compare a label from Flintstones and Bariatric Advantage, Optisource, Bariatric Fusion or Celebrate – it’s a whole different ball game. Those of us who started out on kids vites did not fare so well. :/ I feel strongly about taking adult bariatric specific vitamins. Cordelia April 26, 2009 Love the idea-don’t love the outfit or the constant shifting back and forth-she looks uncomfortable on camera. Maybe a conversation would be more interesting to watch rather than a monologue? I just listed podcast style and it was better. -Thank you! mm April 27, 2009 Thanks Cordelia. I am hyperactive. I don’t sit still, and this was one of my first times on camera. ๐ Yvonne McCarthy May 1, 2009 Amen sister on the vitamins. Debra (yes Debra) just got out of the hospital for not doing what she needs to do. I guess I’m going to have to go to Houston and whip her but I think this was a pretty good wake up call. I know a woman that had to have her teeth pulled and she kept saying “she felt OK”. TAKE YOUR VITAMINS!!! Do whatever necessary to remember. I take mine with my protein shake in the morning and take others at night and I consider it a do or die issue. I’m so done with those that keep saying it’s the easy way out. We all know it isn’t…they know it too. They just have their own agenda when they say it. They can waste their breath on telling me I did something easy but I’m going to live the life I never got a chance to live and they can stay in their zone of negativity. I’m already way on down the road before they finish the sentence. mm May 1, 2009 Debra?! I hope she feels better! ๐ Yvonne McCarthy May 3, 2009 Thanks MM. Debra was is pretty bad shape. She’s had to have some iron infusions lately and like I said, I think she’s had a major wake up call. It just goes to show that even the ones that know better sometimes slack off. I’m thinking she won’t be slacking again or I’m gonna whip her little butt! Edward Hegedus May 17, 2009 Hello Beth, I am excited to have found your show !! I am finally going to get to have my surgery. My consultation is not scheduled until July but at least fow now, I have your show and the WLS Channel to help me get information and have my questions ready for the 1st visit. I like the fact that you are giving us your personal opinion from trial and error on the vitamins and suppliments. It is nice to have someone who’s been there on that road already…showing us the way…keep up the great job !! Beth May 20, 2009 Thanks Edward. I wish you the BEST! Paula February 13, 2010 I love Melting Mamma. I think Beth is great! But when are there going to be new episodes? mm April 6, 2011 Hi Paula – These vids are from Fall 2008, I don’t think we’ll be seeing me again. LOL. But, thank you!
