Congratulations Ramon for your continued success and gracias for extending yourself to help others as well. You are the walking/talking personification of, Si Se Puede. And you did! Just one question Brotha, did you pull a Mariah Carey ask the director to shoot your “good side” so that we could see your dimples? Because I seem to remember a “Mariah moment” while taking a picture with you when we had to switch sides to show off those dimples:). LOL! Glad you did. Keep on Keepin’ On, you do it well. Reply Connie Stemley June 19, 2009 I am having the same problem as Pam. I had RNY 02/2000, I lost from 305 to 186 by 8/2000 and since that time have steadily regained my weight back to where it is now at a high of 260. I consume about 1800 calories per day, try to ride my recumbent bike at leat 5 minutes a day – can’t do more as my knees are shot – bone on bone at this point. I’ve called by surgeon’s office in California and they tell me to “work the program.” I have yet to figure out just what that means. Others tell me I just have to go back to a regular type of diet – Weight Watcher’s, etc., which never worked in the first place. My pouch is still viable – I can tell by what I can eat and how much it takes to make me full. I just can’t seem to get anywhere and I don’t know what to do. I am almost 68 years old and I am miserable. Can anyone help? Reply Hungry2Live (Michael S) July 23, 2009 I can’t get enough of this story. It is such an inspiration. Connie Stemley June 19, 2009 I am having the same problem as Pam. Reply
